Casual LPNs ($30.40-$32.65hr) and RNs ($36.95-$39.20hr)

Position Overview:
We’re seeking dedicated casual RNs and LPNs to join our skilled nursing team! This flexible role is ideal for licensed nurses looking to pick up shifts while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Whether you’re semi-retired, balancing another job, or just need flexibility, we’d love to have you on our team!

Key Responsibilities May Include and Are Not Limited To:

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor residents’ health status and communicate changes to the care team
  • Collaborate with CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan RN or LPN license required
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

  • Ability to work flexible, on-call hours including weekends or holidays as needed

Hospitality Aide: $12.48 hr.

Position Summary:
The Hospitality Aide provides non-clinical support to residents and nursing staff by assisting with comfort-focused services that help maintain a clean, welcoming, and supportive environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in long-term care with the potential for advancement into nursing roles.

Key Responsibilities May Include and Not Be Limited To:

  • Assist residents with meals, including passing trays, feeding support, and clean-up
  • Provide companionship and social interaction for residents
  • Make beds, tidy resident rooms, and restock supplies
  • Support staff by answering call lights and relaying non-clinical requests
  • Help transport residents to activities or appointments within the facility
  • Maintain a positive and respectful environment in accordance with HCMCF standards
  • Follow all safety and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Compassionate, reliable, and eager to work with the elderly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and physical screening

Afternoon or Casual Dietary Aides: $14.64-$16.38 hr.

Looking for afternoon or flexible hours? Join our team as a Casual Dietary Aide! You’ll help prepare and serve meals, assist with dishwashing and cleanup, and support our kitchen team as needed.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) – Afternoon & Midnight Shifts: $20.07-$22.60 hr.

Job Summary
Join our compassionate care team! CNAs at HCMCF provide essential hands-on care and support to our residents, helping with daily activities, monitoring health, and ensuring comfort during their stay. We’re currently hiring for afternoon and midnight shifts—perfect for those who value a quieter environment and meaningful resident connections!

Key Responsibilities May Include and Not Be Limited To:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
  • Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly and compassionately
  • Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
  • Support residents’ emotional and social well-being

Qualifications

  • Current Michigan CNA certification required

Seasonal Summer Maintenance Assistant: $14/hr

Shift: 7:00am-3pm, No Weekends

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a seasonal summer maintenance assistant!

Key Responsibilities May Include and Are Not Limited To:

  • Assist with lawn care: mowing, trimming, raking, and edging
  • Perform general outdoor upkeep, including weeding, planting, and mulching
  • Support minor indoor maintenance tasks (painting, light repairs, etc.)
  • Help set up and take down for facility events and outdoor resident activities
  • Maintain cleanliness of walkways, entrances, and patios
  • Follow safety protocols and report any maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Assist full-time maintenance team as needed
